Building connection through design became the central idea behind the work with Social Creatures, a nonprofit making social connection an essential part of health and wellbeing. The organisation brings together research, community wisdom, and practical programmes to reduce social isolation and create pathways to belonging.
An umbrella brand and flexible design framework were created for Social Creatures and its growing portfolio, including Bonded by Baby and SitGrit. The system unites diverse audiences and initiatives under one memorable voice while giving each programme space to express its own purpose and personality.
Research showed that social isolation affects people across every demographic, from new parents navigating postpartum life to wheelchair users seeking more accessible ways to exercise and connect. This shaped a warm, human-centred design language that makes connection visible at every touchpoint.
The digital work extended the brand into three custom websites for Social Creatures, Bonded by Baby, and SitGrit, creating a scalable ecosystem for resources, programme information, participation, and action.
